Greek and Cypriot food is not spicy but our dishes our full of flavour from the fresh herbs and mild spices used. And of course the excellent extra virgin olive oil used in all our cooking. Some of the most popular dishes on the menu in Cape Greko are listed below.

Greek Village Salad, keftedes, halloumi cheese, kalamari, dolmades, tzatziki dip, hummus dip, served with pita bread. Selection of various starters on a platter, sample all of the Greek flavours! For those who like a taste of the best Cape Greko has to offer on one plate.
The most traditional way of eating in Greece and Cyprus is to order the meze and feast on the excellent dishes on offer.

Shank of tender spring lamb cooked in the oven with onions, tomatoes, cumin, cinnamon and olive oil, served with Greek potatoes. Lamb Kleftiko is our head chef’s signature dish and is a firm favourite with our regular customers. The meat is slowly cooked and served in tin foil to imbue the flavours that when tried will never be forgotten.

A two in one dish, the perfect Greek combination.  Sheftalia is a traditional dish of Greek meatballs made of lean minced pork, finely chopped onions and parsley, traditional spices and grilled to perfection.  Chicken souvlaki (kebabs) is diced breast of chicken, marinated in oregano, olive oil, garlic and Greek yoghurt grilled on a skewer with peppers and onions.

This dish has proved popular with customers who are interested in trying traditional Greek cooking.  Grilled meats served simply with tzatziki and salad or potatoes.
